Whatever your design needs for your wedding cake whether it be traditional, wild and wacky, naked, or contemporary we have it covered. We have a wide range of cake decorating classes all local to Ely. We have courses and on sugarcraft flower making, cake making, modeling along with themed workshops throughout the year. It does not matter if you have not done sugarcraft or cake decorating before as we will have something for your skill level and help you to develop with our easy-to-follow teaching methods.

Yvonne created a perfect cake for me with very little guidance. I asked for a saxophone themed cake for a 70th birthday. Having googled images of cakes with a similar theme, nothing stood out as being just right so I left the decorating choices completely up to Yvonne. I was thrilled with the cake she created, which was better than any of the examples I’d seen online! The cake itself was delicious, with a beautiful light and fluffy texture. I would definitely use Yvonne again!

They made a perfect cake for our wedding and we could not be happier. Our brief was so specific (edible flowers to match the floristry used at the venue) and it came out perfect. Friendly professional service and it tasted delicious! Would recommend.

Very friendly, helpful, creative and wonderful staff. I called up doing the whole thing over the phone with no pictures and it came out amazing. I ordered a cake for a birthday for someone who loves crafts and sewing. It was a patchwork quilt with sewing thread reels, safety pins, wool and knitting. It's amazing and they loved it. Would highly recommend.

Yvonne and the team are so helpful no matter how big or small,they are always willing to help out,I had the pleasure in doing a basic sugar flower course with Yvonne,and I felt pretty nervous if im honest, but Yvonne has such great people skills I felt like part of the team within minutes, their new premises are fantastic from learning a new skill to buying all your sugarcraft goods at a real value for money price,I for one will keep going back to the yellow butterfly shop, and I highly recommend you give them a try Paul Holmes (aka Thebaldbaker )
