In 2023, after 6 years of camping, we were debating whether to buy a campervan to shift our family adventures to campervanning. We really enjoy camping and have had some amazing times. However, the ease of jumping into a campervan and heading out for a fun day-trip or a week away, whenever and wherever we fancied, was something we really wanted.
After looking at various options, we found a VW T5.1 with our name on it, it's kitted out lovely and makes a great addition to the family! Vanagon came about when looking at the VW campervan history. In short, In the U.S. and South America the VW T3 was sold as a Vanagon, which is a blended word of van and station wagon. The name Vanagon was coined by Volkswagen to highlight their claim that the T3 had the room of a van, but drove like a station wagon. Click the image for more info.

alexandria blundell5 StarThis was such an amazing experience for our family, made perfect because Sinead and Craig could not be more helpful. They answered all my queries (and there were alot as we'd never hired a camper before and took our 2 year old!).

Sinead & Craig were so accommodating to our requests including our film selection for our movie evenings using their projector!! This was the first time we had hired a campervan and it won't be the last! The van had everything we could possibly have needed and was easy to use. Craig spent time showing us how it all worked before we set off and was happy to be contacted at any point to help if there were any issues. Ann Keenleyside5 StarWe've always wanted to hire a camper van and glad we did for our adventure to Cornwall. We liked the fact it was used as their own family camper too and not a big business. Craig ensured we knew how to operate the features of the van and it was so convivient for us as just around the corner. Communication was great and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and family. Costing was clear and they didn't charge extra for hiring chairs/table etc and limit your mileage which was also another big selling point. The van is ready to go! Do it!Sunday 20th August 2023
