Good coffee. Lovely staff. Gorgeous cafe. The only letdown: we had to clear our own table of plates before sitting but besides that, not a bad experience.

I've been waiting (excitedly!) for well over a year for Vicolo to reopen. It used to be my go-to spot for breakfast, great coffee, and a comfy space to get hours of work done. I tried to resume this routine this morning - I'm a long-standing Tyneside Cinema Friend and I've missed everything about this place. Unfortunately it seems the re-start is a little rocky - Google Maps Live shows the venue as 'temporarily closed', which might explain why there wasn't a single customer there over an hour after opening. There was a menu on display but when I tried to order food, staff said they didn't have anything and could only serve drinks. I left and went elsewhere as I wanted breakfast. Hopefully they'll gear up and return to their former glory!

They've got their act together ☺️ The friendly staff know what they're doing and the top notch food is made in-house. Outstanding coffee! Nice selection of spirits too. Estrella on tap. I'm not a cocktail fan but my friends seemed pretty pleased ☺️ Prices are a bit higher than average - but so is what you get for your money...

Nice staff and coffee is pretty good too. Venue is very nice albeit small, best visited in the morning. Alcohol and cocktails served later on which is a nice plus for drinkers. Only complaint is the food menu is lackluster, and the prices are a little steep.
