The most common problem with glass units are misted and cloudy glass, caused by a breakdown in the glass unit seal decomposing or the desiccant no longer working  which then allows condensation to form between the two panes of glass.

Replacement glass units are a fraction of the cost of replacement windows and doors, and should the current drainage be below standard, this can also be corrected at no additionakl cost whilst replacing your units. Alternatively the problem might be due to poor ventilation in the room, and a trickle vent can be fitted to the window.

We can also remove and refit glass units when the needed for things like furniture deliveries and removals.

Gary is very experienced and knows what he’s doing. I switched my UPVC door to open outwards but couldn’t align door properly so I called Gary to ask if he could take a look, he agreed and said it could cost between £60-£120 as an estimate. I rescheduled appointment on same day twice due to a delay on my side, he adjusted his schedule and still turned up to take a look. He quoted a fair price for the job, we agreed and he fixed the door within 1 hour. No fuss service, will defiantly use again!

Problems with the one of the Locks on my UPVC Window - thought I’d need to replace the whole Window Frame etc - Frame Type no longer available. Someone at another Window Replacement Company recomended Gary at Total Windows - Oh Wow what a lucky break. I contacted Gary he came out the same day - sorted out my Window Lock Problem and saved my sanity. No need to replace all 3 Windows Front to match! The Lock now works perfectly. Any other problems with anything else Gary and his colleague Jake will be my first port of call. I’d recommend this genius anytime.

Gary and Jake helped with a big gap we had in our conservatory and also changed the mechanisms for 4 of our UPVC windows. They have turned up on time and delivered as expected with good results. We needed 17 blown units replaced in our conservatory. Gary gave us a fast efficient service at a competitive price. Unfortunately when Gary had left we noticed one of the units was marked between the glass. I phoned Gary, he took my word for it and replaced the unit in 8 days. I would definitely recommend Total Windows and will use them again if any other units blow.
