Great food at an acceptable price. Always love to support local business. Just a shame they never have enough scallops when I go there... Which isn't as often as I would like 😀

Great fish & chip shop, fresh cooked to orders great menu good prices too. Had Dinner in the restaurant side, Friendly staff ordered from table food arrived lovely and hot and a pot of tea, it was great. Shall be returning.

Went for an impromptu meal with my neice. Service was excellent & our waitress was lovely. Food came quickly & nice and hot. And it was delicious. We will definitely be returning.

The chips hard and undercooked and fish was undercooked but the curry sauce was very nice, tables hadn't been cleared so no tables to sit at, before I ate I was going to use the bathroom to wash my hands but it was unfortunatly very unclean I included a photo. *In response to the owner, this is my only review, it was updated to include the photo taken on the day we went, we have not been back since that day, thought it was for the best, apologies if this has in any way caused you distress. Visiting The Golden Cod Werrington with my family was a great experience. We were looking for a place that offered fish and chips locally while at a local park and this restaurant did not disappoint. The kids meal was especially enjoyable. It included mini cod and chips, which were delicious! The kids enjoyed the other options on the menu such as regular cod, large cod, large chips and mini cod meal which came with a drink and a little pack of sweets to finish. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, I would highly recommend The Golden Cod Werrington to anyone looking for some great fish and chips in Werrington!
