The Conifers Guest House is a family run establishment, with a warm friendly atmosphere. The Guest House is an elegant period building situated in the Heart of Edinburgh. At The Conifers we know the importance of an informative and attentive service, that's why we will be on hand to offer advice and service to make your visit to Scotland's capital as wonderful as possible.We are within easy walking distance to Edinburgh City centre which boasts a wide variety of resturaunts, pubs and night spots. If you are coming by car there is free on-street parking on Pilrig Street. Getting around Edinburgh couldn't be easier ether on foot or by using the excellent bus service. The Conifers is an ideal place to stay whether on holiday or business.

Clean rooms, a homely atmosphere, good pricing, a nice location and especially very nice hosts (David and Liz) made our stay at The Conifers a really fun experience. Breakfast was all right: plenty of fruit, yoghurts, sweet buns and cereals; the coffee was really good (important detail!); but as a continental European I did miss some freshly baked small bread. Regardless, we plan to stay with David and Liz again when we return to Edinburgh.

I stayed here on the weekend just gone for a golfing trip, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, clean with fresh towels. The hosts David and Liz were very welcoming. There is ample Parking outside which is free on weekends too. Location wise it is very quiet even though it is just off Leith walk so has great transport links on the bus and tram for getting into town, if you are to walk it is only 20 mins. We are already looking to return next year.

Incredibly friendly staff, a lovely man called David was always available to give recommendations and advice. The hotel is situated about a 20 min walk from the city center in a nice and quiet street with ample parking. Great bed and breakfast for anyone visiting Edinburgh

Just back from a couple of days in Edinburgh, staying with David and Liz's B&B. Fantastic hosts, happy to share their knowledge of the city,places to visit,pubs etc. Our room was large, well decorated and great facilities. Bonus being the house is just 15 minute walk from the town centre and princess st.can't wait to book another stay. 10/10
