Talking shop is a lovely, friendly space, with incredible community participation. There is community-run shop and cafe, serving delicious, affordable food--with vegetarian and vegan options available. The shop has a very nice selection of wines, sweets, basic staples, and lovely gifts. There is good wifi, and toys and games in a "play corner" for children. The setting is wonderful, with a garden outside (contributing to the kitchen!) and an amazing-looking playground. On Saturday mornings there's a lovely farmer's market in the hall, and you can enjoy coffee and breakfast from the cafe while picking up veg, bread, local organic meat products, lovely yarns, etc (depending on the vendors).

Amazing local market. The barista makes delicious drinks and the products are very reasonably priced and mostly local! Lovely green and playground outside and village beyond. Fresh fruit, veg, and cafe with hot food!

Brilliant place to pause our walk and enjoy some genuinely delicious cakes — a gorgeous, sticky iced ginger cake and a white chocolate and raspberry (fresh!) cake. Lovely little garden which provides the freshly cut flowers for the tables.

What a lovely place to have a coffee and lunch, if you are passing through the village, or indeed if you are local. It is on the main road through Sandford and offers light lunches, coffee, tea etc and also has a community shop. Manned mainly by volunteers, it is very friendly and welcoming. I had the soup of the day - £3 for a large bowl plus bread! Certainly will go again. Well done to the Sandford on Thames community !
