Great starters and curry here, great service too. Lovely decor and atmosphere. Nice pint of Cobra too. If you like a nice curry this is a great place for one. When I'm down in Portsmouth again I will be going back.

Absolutely top quality service from the guys at River spice. The food was delicious. The young man was very knowledgeable, as one of the guys in my group of 4 had an allergen enquiry. The young man was able to explain in full detail what ingredients was in that particular dish before the guy in my group proceeded to order his chosen dish. It’s quite a small restaurant but the ambiance and atmosphere makes it feel like home. Would suggest you to book a table before you go, as they’re really full (which is good!) All in all would highly recommend. Keep up the good work RiverSpice!

Top class food, and amazing service from the staff. This Indian unlike many others is consistently good. It never fails to make our Saturday night perfect! Slightly more expensive than other Indian takeaways however it’s well worth the extra money. You won’t be disappointed. Naan bread is always fresh, and not too thick and doughy like many others I’ve tried. Have tried a few different dishes and always just as tasty as the last! The onion Bahjis are unreal, always so fresh and tasty, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside…. Just perfect and big too😍. Very clean too which is always a bonus! Wouldn’t go anywhere else☺️

Was recommended this Indian takeaway. So thought let’s give it a try. For the cost was not worth the money. Taste was poor . Quality was poor. So won’t be ordering again. Sorry better Indian takeaways around.
