The rooms are quite good. But they hadn't been prepared as booked (we waited two beds to be made, not just one). This was corrected later. Also, we had specified a quiet room. Apparently, their idea of a quiet room is a room overlooking a busy crossroads. The breakfast is just like the NHS; extremely good, but you need to book your appointment.

We were really pleased with our visit to Premier Inn Canterbury. We found everything to be VERY clean, the beds comfortable and the staff really friendly. We were impressed with the sound proofing in the room ( we couldn't hear the very busy road at all) and with the black out curtains. We had breakfast there 3 mornings, 2 of which were great, good choice and availability. 3rd breakfast was slightly marred by long waits for mugs and food to be replenished. Only complaint was about parking, which was expensive. You could use local park and ride as a cheaper option? Overall, we were very impressed and would like to thank the team for our great stay.

What can one expect from a Premier Inn? It's pretty bog standard, however: - the rooms were a bit dusty and stuffy, and we also couldn't open the windows so had to rely on the ventilation. - the provided towels were too few. - the breakfast buffet was often missing stuff and the meat replacement (veggie) options were only upon request. Nevertheless, the staff were nice and friendly, the room was quiet and the bed was super comfy, so I can only imagine the deficiencies fall onto management decisions.

Perfect spot for a weekend visit. Less than 10 minutes walk from the train station and just five minutes into town. Added bonus of a Tesco Metro under it. Large comfy rooms with air con. Friendly staff and large restaurant and comfy bar area. Very clean and just what you expect from Premier Inn.

Very handy for the city centre, it seems newer and fresher than other Premier Inns, and we enjoyed our stay. Some rooms (ours for example) have a view over the city and cathedral and little direct sun, and remained pleasantly cool through the heatwave. Buses to Dover and Folkestone stop nearby.
