I hired PHS Services to help set up the propane heating system a set of 3 barrel kettles for a small brewery. Since their hourly rates are very high, £318/hr, I first wanted to verify with them that this something they could do. I had explained the situation to Adam, a director, and asked if this was within their scope. His response left me with the impression that it's something they could do. So I hired them. The technician came the next day and I quickly learned this was something he couldn't do. He was trying to get advice from the office with no response. He then went to a shop to get advice from outside the company and came back empty handed. As a result, I got charged for an 1 1/2 hours of service for a total of £477 and got nowhere. I wrote back to them by email expressing my displeasure and got no response. I guess getting the money is more important than customer satisfaction. I have sorted my problem out finally with other services that not only charge a fraction of the cost, but were motivated in helping solve a problem. I was truly mislead to believe I was hiring an "engineering" service. As a new business, this was a costly error to make.

I booked a boiler repair last month, overall was ok, the person was competent and they came the day after my call. Although I spent £174 just for the call, and the engineer spent less then 10 mins working as the problem at my boiler was non-existent. I can't help but feeling like a rip-off of money. Sorry

TERRIBLE COMPANY AVOID AT ALL COSTS- so many hidden charges was told that the issue wouldn’t be too hard to fix so I paid my deposit and now they’ve quoted me £555 excluding the fact that I would have to pay for every 15 extra minutes. Have to work HOURS on end to get that deposit money back. Absolutely gutted. The engineer didn’t even give us a quote on the day and I had to call to prompt for that otherwise I wouldn’t have even been sent that. AVOID AVOID can buy a brand new oven for the amounts asked to pay.

Appalling company! Do not use under any circumstance! Led me to believe that they could fix a commercial glasswasher, I told them the drain pump isn't working - no problem they said, took payment up front and promised to send an engineer to fix things - engineer arrived, looked at the machine and told me that the drain pump wasn't working, which I already knew. He told me he didn't have the part and would have to order it in. Left after ten minutes. Took 270 quid for the privilege of telling me what I already knew! Was then contacted by the company wanting a further 450 quid to install the part. So in total they want over 700 quid to fix a part that barely costs 100.. this company is awful, bunch of liars and crooks. AVOID.
