Lovely breakfast spot. Generous portions and well-prepared. Ordered scrambled eggs and a herb sausage which were both fresh. The eggs were creamy and rich. The bread was crunchy and delicious. They also have a good selection of brownies and cupcakes.

Stopped in for lunch during a walk along the walls. Very close to the Micklegate steps for those doing a walk. Excellent food from the brunch menu. The chorizo was excellent and had Monmouth coffee. The cakes looked amazing but would have offset the effort of the walk. Will do in again just to try those cakes.

Good food and great staff. Long narrow room and quite busy when I visited but we were seated outside in a small courtyard. Good selection of food especially breakfasts. Staff could not be more helpful and cheerful. Enjoyed Mexican eggs then had to try delicious cake. Wish I lived nearer. I would call in every week.

Very popular, need to book. Food was great, vegetarian skillet breakfast was incredible and I wish other places served dark (82%) chocolate hot chocolates like they do. Blew my mind. Perfect pit stop if you come into York via train. Miles better than anything else around.

Popped across for brunch from the Premier Inn Was not disappointed. The perfect breakfast and lovely staff. Great for vegetarians and vegans too. Although they will miss out on lovely bacon. Try the French toast - every breakfast rolled into one so you don't have to choose.
