I am truly thankful to Dr Tanner at the Oving Clinic. I had acute lower back pain for 8 months, I had been to 10 osteos, a physio and a chiro, all of whom made me worse. I had had injections in my spine under anaesthetic from top specialist to no avail. I was utterly desperate. Dr Tanner improved my back from day 1 and each session has really reduced my pain and now allowing me to stand upright again. I am continuing with my treatment with hope for the future and better every day. Thank you so much Dr Tanner. I can now update the above review. I came to Dr John Tanner as a cripple unable to sit in a chair, only lie flat even to eat. I was like that for 15 months. Several months after I finished my treatment with Dr Tanner and after 4 months prolotherapy and some medication, I am one hundred percent cured and I use the word advisedly and with joy. I have not a single tweak, I am upright and normal and I walk and dance and sit and go to events as a normal healthy person. I can never thank him enough for handing me my life back totally. No one else helped me, they all made me worse. I feel marvellous. Thank you thank you thank you Dr Tanner.

John Tanner has been treating my wife's chronic back problems for over fifteen years and it's fair to say this has been profoundly life-changing. And it's not just the treatment, it's invaluable advice on how to manage her condition day to day. I should add that she is a registered nurse and recognises excellent care when she sees it. Dr Tanner is a genuinely kind and talented physician and nothing is too much trouble.

My mother and father have been using the Oving Clinic since 2014, Dr Tanner has always been first class as have Mandy and the rest of the team. They regularly recommend the clinic to their friends.

After being informed my initial appointment with Mr Tanner would cost a whopping £145!!!...being in so much pain, I reluctantly agreed as I needed my foot seen urgently. After a steroid injection, I hobbled on one foot back to reception to be informed the total was actually £300!!! I am still in disbelief at how that amount can ever be justified. Not only did the injection cause swelling and much more pain, I wasn't warned of any side effects, NOR was I warned that the £145 fee was just a starting point. Thats £300 for ONE hours work and for actually worsening my condition. I tried to get a response from Mr Tanner who couldn't even make the effort to speak to me himself but sent a message via his receptionist to say..."It will settle down". That's all he had to say. Well it hasn't settled and it's worse than when I went in and I'm £300 lighter for the priveledge.

I went to see Dr Tanner after being hospitalised for herniated discs in my lower back. I could not walk unaided whilst in hospital and after a week of excruciating pain only treated with drugs there, I reached out to Dr Tanner who arranged to see me immediately. Once I was at his clinic, he treated me there and then. Although I was naturally sore for some time afterwards, I walked out of the surgery. My back made a good recovery following the injections and complete relief followed as my back healed. I cannot thank him and his team for the resolution to a hideous problem.
