Great evening at Netherton Arts Centre on Wednesday 14 December 2016 watching the pantomime, Cinderella. Absolutely superb, well done to all students and staff involved - you must be on a high right now, I'm so proud to be even slightly linked to you. Went to the open day today and must say the ethos in this school is amazing. My niece really enjoyed looking around and I enjoyed seeing how much the school has developed! Was good to know the house system was still in place as it really had a brilliant impact on my school years! Competition and activities really allow children to come out of their shell! Hope it stays for many more years! My daughter moved from another school to Ormiston due to bullying. Since she started in April it's like she's a completely different child. She gets up for school no problems, hasn't once moaned about anything. She's looking forward to starting year 8 which is something I never thought I would say. Thank you to everyone at Ormiston for making her feel like she belongs somewhere. Ormiston Forge Academy is not only a great school but they provide help to everyone, they treat all the students equally. Not only that, the school provide educational trips in order to have fun but learn responsibility. I'm year 11 now and I have had the best experience. I highly recommend it. 5 stars As a difficult parent with a ‘spirited’ young lad, I think the school have worked hard to accommodate us both. Having a good idea of high schools I have to say Ormiston get it right! Every school can improve but I think they welcome feedback and strive to be the best - education is a tough game with lots of people to please. Educating teenagers in the current climate is a difficult job - I couldn’t do it so credit where it is due. It’s clear if they have the right attitude they’ll succeed at Ormiston they’re given lots of opportunities it’s up the individual child to take them.

Good school, where the teachers only want to see you do well. I wasn't so good in maths, and still managed to pass my maths! Due to having extra tuition from Mr.corfield ( thanks to Mr.Richards too) Mr.Bradley was my teacher for RE and thanks to him I got a high grade in religious studies. My sister now attends this school and has him! And knowing that I know she will do well! Thanks to this Academy I now have a good career!

Bad memories of this school. Do nothing about bullying. Several times kids getting picked on in front of teachers and teachers too scared to say anything to the bullies. They care about you if youre exceptionally smart, will offer you a lot of support, other than that you're a second class student if you don't get the grades they need to make the school look good. Had a lot of racism whilst I was there, again nothing much done about it. Try to desperately sugar coat that its a good school, but all I can remember is desperately wanting to leave. Would not reccomend especially due to their lack of action on bullying.

The teachers are really encouraging and motivating especially Mr Gill, Mrs Fischer, Mr Court and Mrs Porter just to mention a few(too many to list) which makes the kids feel safe and happy.

This school is joke.. kids being bullied and nothing being done about. They go on about there anti bullying policy.. but they don't follow through on it.. with kids killing themselves everyday over being bullied you would think they would take it more seriously.. I wouldn't think twice about sending my child there.
