I’m Jake Holland; I have been operating my own fully insured dog walking and pet-care business in Bristol since 2015. I also cover the surrounding areas.

Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember and I have trained many of my own dogs to a high level of obedience.
In 2003 I worked in New Zealand for 6 months, on a 3’500 acre farm as a shepherd and trained 2 of my own sheep dogs. The dogs were so obedient and well trained at 6 months old my family bought them off me.

This was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life and where I discovered my passion for working with dogs.

Since then I have cared for friends and families pets wherever I have lived and worked and I am now set up full-time in Bristol.

My partner and myself recently acquired a dog of our own (finally). Her name is Loam (like the forest soil) and she is a Double-Doodle (Golden-doodle x Labradoodle). She was born 09/05/2021.

Initial consultation:

It is preferable to meet up with yourselves initially, before any activities commence, for an initial chat and to discuss the dog,  yourselves, your relationship, ie. Health condition, good with other dogs, chipped, vaccinated, spade/Neutered, appropriate discipline & TREATS?

Dog Walking:

I am more than happy to take 2 or more dogs, from the same household, at a time; depending on size and ability to cope with others, and down to the owners discretion.

I prefer to walk all dogs off the lead (in a safe environment) for a short period of time over the walk, as I feel it is more relaxing for the dog and allows a good bond of trust to be established.
But only at you approval!

Disclaimer: If dogs are to be walked as a large group, all dogs must be spade/neutered and vaccinated for safety reasons. Though if your dog is under the required age needed to get neutered then I will happily take them out with our group. They will need to be booked in and neutered as soon as they are old enough.

For walking(walks are about one hour long)

£15 – 1 walk 1 dog
£25 – 1 walk 2 dogs
£30 – 2 walks 1 dog
£45 – 2 walks 2 dogs

House, Dog & Pet-Sitting

£35 per night or for day-care over 12 hours

I am able to offer dog or pet sitting services when you go away on a short trip.
Currently I am living in Southville Bristol; and I am more than happy to care for pets here. (as are my housemates whom will be around from time to time.)

At our current address we are blessed to have a large back garden which is fenced and secured.

If you are looking for a more personalized care I am also able to come and stay with your pet for an arranged period of time each day I can make sure they are well, happy, fed, watered and walked. I charge £35 per night for this service.
