Received a letter from MRM 'reminding' us that our alarm was overdue a service. As we needed a sensor moving anyway I called and booked a service and sensor move. They had no availability until the next week (7 days time) but booked anyway. We were told that the engineer would be with us between 12pm and 4pm. I took the day off work and waited for the engineer to arrive. He hadn't arrived by 2:30pm so I called the office to make sure he was coming and was told we were his next call. By 4:30pm he still hadn't arrived nor called to say he was running late so I called the office again. I was told the office was closed and I had been put through to the emergency helpline. The lady took my number and said the engineer would call. 10 minutes later he did call but said he wouldn't be with us until 6pm. I told him not to bother as that was far too late and we had things to do. Apparently the office are booking far too much work for each engineer and they are finding it impossible to keep on time. To rub salt in the wounds the office called me the next day (while I was at work) and casually announced that the engineer could call within the next hour "if that was ok"? I told them to cancel the job and we would use someone else.

Finally open this time, last werk was a wasted 50 mile run as it closed early even though thesign says 5:00 pm.
