Absolutely great! Never been left unsatisfied with the incredible customer service they provide while also delivering an amazing experience when it comes down to me eating the kebab that they so expertly made. This place deserves higher then a 5 its the best food place not only in Newcastle but in the world!

This is my local chip shop and I use it a couple of times a month for fish and chips . This evening I called my usual order in for me to collect, which I did , I was surprised at my change from £20 . I ordered two pensioner specials and a small pot of mushy peas , I was charged £16.80 The chips were dark in colour and very soft . The fish which would normally fill the box was 2/3 of the normal size . The cod was thin and heavily battered which I usually remove , sadly I couldn’t do that the fish was too thin , the tail end lacked fish at only consisting of batter . I am sorry to say that my husband and I were sadly very disappointed with our meal this evening . We have always loved the fish we normally received. Having just checked the website menu’s pension specials with large fish and small chips price £7.50 I’m sorry but our meals This evening were not up to your usual Standard . Very disappointed

5 stars for the food.. minus 5 for the service. The staff are clueless, there seems no organisation whatsoever. If you ring in an order, when you turn up as arranged they then ask you what you want and begin your order making phoning up a total waste of time. If you order withing a couple of hours of Mr.Cs closing you are likely to be told there, are no chips, meat or salad left. Considering they close at 9pm on Friday and 8pm on Saturday that means they are regularly running out of vital products at 6 or 7 pm on a Friday and Saturday evening meaning that you have to change your order. When you order a kebab the staff often take little notice of your requests to put sauce in a tub and will every now and again pour it all over your kebab, rendering it inedible. I have put up with this lottery for the last few years as the food is very nice and reasonable priced but after last night will not be returning. We decided not to ring in an order last night as it is such a pointless exercise and went there instead around 7.20pm hoping there would be enough of everything left necessary to get a kebab. 7 pm is a reasonable time to order food on a Friday night. When we entered we were asked what we wanted, and we asked for 2 kebabs ,there were 2 other customers in the shop. About 10 minutes later they asked again what we wanted, bemused but not surprised, we told them again at which point they informed us there were hardly any salad ingredients left. We said that in that case we would have fish ,my friend commented that if they had told us there wasn't enough salad left we would have considered a different order in the first place.. after hearing mutterings about how rude my friend was we decided to leave, not wishing our food compromised. It's a shame that the place is run so unprofessionally. It shouldn't be hard to put a system in place that works to the benefit of the customers experience. Could do with a supervisor or manager on site. Never mind, there are plenty of other alternative takeaways in Kenton that I will choose instead in future although it is a shame because the food itself is great.

Clean bright and lovely smell of fish and chips. Staff efficient. What a chip shop should be. Prices reasonable. All in all good value

Were great, but sadly gone down hill. They put up their prices and give smaller portions. Pensioner's special - ask for chunky cod bites and chips otherwise the cod bites may be flat with little fish, also halving the portion of chips without reducing the price. A double blow for customers
