Traditional or Contemporary Designs
As well as traditional style gates and railings we can create entirely bespoke designs to meet your needs such as window and door security grilles, balustrades and furniture. We also offer both an installation service or supply only.
All of our products are made to measure. We will come to your home or place of business, measure up and discuss a design that suits your requirements, giving you expert advice along the way. This will ensure we give you the best possible quotation we can provide.
Materials that go into our products
MILD STEEL
As opposed to traditional wrought iron that you see on old Georgian and Victorian homes, mild steel is now the material used to create decorative ironwork as it’s more malleable. It is also a much more cost effective approach but still gives the classic look and characteristics of traditional wrought iron.
TIMBER & COMPOSITE IN-FILLS
Our deep steel framed gates and railings give you the option of having hardwood or composite in-fills. We use the finest hand selected Iroko African Harwood. This serves many great advantages for instance, Iroko is low maintenance and does not require regular treatment with oil or varnish. Composite board is becoming more and more popular for reasons such as it is hard wearing and requires zero maintenance while still looking elegant for many years to come.
GALVANISATION
Zinc Galvanising treatment is a process where steel or iron is submerged into a bath of molten zinc at 449 degrees Celsius, the liquid zinc alloys itself to the surface of the base metal to prevent rusting.
POWDER COAT PAINT
Powder coating starts as a dry powder which is electrocoated onto the metal. It is then baked in an oven to flatten the paint and give it a much tougher finish than conventional spray paint, making it the perfect coating for low maintenance decorative steel work.
