Oh my goodness. How has it taken us so long to find this gem of a place. We visited for Saturday Brunch. Staff were welcoming, friendly, and struck exactly the right balance of attentiveness. Coffee and food is superb and beautifully presented. Bacon is excellent quality but too salty for my taste, but that is a personal taste matter. Delicious sourdough toast. Will definitely be returning very soon. Thank you.

Journey Social is one of the wave of small, independent, businesses in Lancaster that are providing a unique experience. The food is a clever combination of European contemporary tastes (with a heavy Mediterranean slant) and well balanced flavours. It is gastro cafe food, cooked well and beautifully presented for a moderate price. It is no surprise that the cafe is always busy and has a queue outside waiting for a seat. However, have no fear as the staff are well trained, polite and efficient and the food, all prepared to order, is cooked in good time. Even at a busy lunchtime we had a seat and a meal with only a fifteen minute wait. To further elaborate on the staff, it is clear that the management of Journey Social pride themselves on good customer service. Staff were attentive and cheerful and really helped round the whole experience. Expect to eat a good cafe meal with drinks for around £10-£15 per person. Don't forget to try one of the excellent cakes.

Only discovered this place recently after hearing about it a few times from friends and colleagues! An absolutely incredible place overall. Staff are absolutely lovely and the food was devine and heavenly, not to mention they have the best cappuccinos I've ever tasted. I took my family who live abroad and they loved it! Will definitely come again.

Always excellent service, food, coffee, people, vibes, music, plants. Simply excellent. We love Journey Social and everything it's about. Sometimes have to queue because it's so good - but good things come to those that wait (and you won't wait long).

Would 100% recommend! Have been for breakfast and brunch multiple times and have always experienced incredible service, food, and drink! Stopped in for breakfast this morning and had the pineapple upside down loaf and an iced latte which were both delicious.
