Welcome to Jamea al Kauthar Girls’ Islamic College, a boarding school in Lancaster, UK. Established in 1996, we cater for pupils from ages 11 and above, providing a madrasah, high school and sixth form.
At Jamea, we aim to provide a vibrant and enriching Islamic environment that is conducive to acquiring a strong education. Students at our school are challenged to pursue excellence in a family-like environment, and their welfare and progress is our highest priority. Our powerful extra-curricular programme complements all aspects of studies and embraces the culturally and ethnically diverse student population. To this end, through the grace of Allah, the graduates of our college perform well at the school and transfer high standards of spiritual, moral and ethical values to their chosen paths within their own communities.

Atika K5 StarIt was some of the best years of my life. My room-mates, friends and I created memories that will last a lifetime. I left as a more stronger and independent female, aware of my rights and responsibilities. a a5 StarHands down the most amazing, uplifting, indescribable, life-changing experience.
The education, food, facilities, scenery, etc were all brilliant.
Words cannot express how blessed I feel to have experienced such an atmosphere.
When I was studying there, my teachers were outstandingly inspiring, nurturing and patient. My classmates, roommates, friends etc were (and still are) like family to me.
Once I graduated and started teaching there, I felt (and still feel) a motherly attachment to my students.
It's a place where I witnessed (and learned) unconditional love, respect, generosity, tolerance, patience, understanding, acceptance, humility, self-confidence and much much more.
