A coffee cherry takes up to five years for it to grow and ripen... those little beans in our grinder... every single one of them was handpicked and processed by hard working people... literally every single coffee bean has passed through someone's fingers who checks every bean is the highest quality.
It takes years to bring great coffee into the world and then it's shipped across the world so it can be roasted and crafted into delicious drinks.
We deeply respect and value every single person along the entire coffee supply chain - every soul from the farm to the coffee shop is part of our intermission family, we work with suppliers who share our values to do right by our people... and we work hard together so that our work creates no unnecessary harm on our planet.
We believe that what we eat and drink matters and that there is no conflict between a better beverage and a better world. We are here to introduce the world to speciality coffee made in sustainable systems.

few tables outside the shop to enjoy the sunlight. you can also sit inside but the space is quite small.
ordered one americano which was good, and also they let you choose the illustration on your takeaway cup (thought it was cute)

Nipun Gupta4 StarIntermission is our go to coffee place in West Hampstead, right next to the stations. Why? Simply because they take great care at making coffee and other drinks, clean interiors, and have that passion you are looking for in a small business. You will see a queue going out the door most mornings, but they are reasonably fast at getting to your order.
The only problem I felt is that their staff does not believe in smiling or niceties. Sometimes, they are too busy to recognize or have a chat with a frequent customer.
Their oat milk ☕ cappuccinos and lattes are our favorite and also their fresh 🍊 orange juice.Tuesday 11th October 2022
Daniel Wolf5 StarOne of the best coffees in West Hampstead and Hampstead area, and we’ve tried them all! Whenever we are in West Hampstead, we always travel to get a coffee from Intermission.
Great flat white (regular or decaf)-right temperature, amazing foam, great beans with no bitterness. Right on par with Ozone, Kaffine, Monicle, Monmouth, Prufrock, Roslyn Coffee, JavaJava, Alex Coffee, the attendant, and Taylor Street Baristas.
Right near West Hampstead Tube and Overground. You won’t be disappointed!Monday 26th September 2022

Eanji (eanji)5 StarAward winning café next to West Hampstead overground station with very appealing branding and brilliant baristas. Matcha latte was descent and creamy, the flat white was also incredible. Baristas are friendly and talkative, you can see that they put lots of effort and love into each cup of coffee and it really reflects on the quality of the drinks itself. This café also sell their own coffee beans and merch, it deserves to be this popular!Sunday 29th January 2023
