Russell is our Managing Director and Principal Consultant; he prides himself on remaining a personal source of contact for each and every Greenborough client, ensuring the needs of the project are delivered to the highest standard by the team. Russell has worked for over 30 years in a number of business environments, from multi-national plcs, right through to start-ups. He has worked in both private and public sectors, and, almost uniquely, has spent more than 16 years at the interface between the two.

He has developed and managed a number of successful businesses, both for himself, and others, and relishes a challenge.Current roles, in addition to leading Greenborough, include CEO of EMIN, Midlands Regional Manager for Angels Den, Chair of the Regional Advisory Board of the Midlands Engine Investment Fund, regular speaking engagements, and as a retained business advisor to a number of SME businesses and public projects. Russell is also heavily involved in the running of the 10by10 Business Accelerator Programme.

Russell recently achieved Highly Commended at the East Midlands Institute of Director’s Annual Awards (2019) to go with his Runners Up at the Great British Entrepreneurs’ Awards.
