I am proud to be the Headteacher of a school where the team strive to ensure they do everything possible to enable the pupils to be happy, safe and achieve to their full potential. All of our pupils have a range of special educational needs but every child is treated as an individual and they astound us with the things that they achieve. Green Cluster is the very first Cluster within Green Park and is a happy vibrant place to work and play. Children in the Cluster are aged between three and seven – some of the very young children have the opportunity to attend on a part-time basis as this may be the very first time that they have been to school.  We are full of enthusiasm and have a thirst for learning in Yellow Cluster. We range in ages from Year 2 to Year 6 and we are a little more grown up than our friends in Green Cluster. Our pupils are set according to their individual needs into either a Structured class (class 6), a Focused class (class 5) and a Sensory class (class 4). Orange Cluster supports pupils from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 3. We are a very lively cluster with lots of enthusiastic pupils keen to develop the basic skills they have acquired in Green and Yellow Clusters. Everyone in the cluster is forward looking and really working hard on both our academic work and developing the life skills we will need as we grow up.  Our Cluster supports pupils in Key Stages 3 and 4. Our team works hard to develop the image of the cluster area and its identity. Strong staff inspire each other to visualise their classrooms as fun and wonderful learning environments and how best to use their space to inspire pupils. Our classrooms have embraced the new school curriculum and our good practice has been shared across the school. Children enjoy their classrooms and use them effectively for learning.   Purple Cluster is the final Cluster group that the pupils of Green Park School move to during their journey through School, and pupils are aged 14-19. We strive to prepare our young people as fully as possible for life beyond school, and therefore independence and inclusion are embedded in our curriculum to support this transition.  Blue Cluster is a cluster that all of our children access and offers an opportunity for them to learn more practical subjects in specialist rooms, such as food tech, swimming, music and art. It is full of energy and enthusiasm to learn in exciting different ways!

Today, with my business Immersive Theatres, I delivered a 7m digital planetarium experience to 132 students and staff (including 34 wheelchair users) at Green Park School. I was warmly welcomed by the staff and found the hall prepared just as I had requested. The day was well organised with all groups arriving on time. The excited students enjoyed entering the planetarium, with some of them experiencing a 360° Underwater Adventure and others enjoying the popular Solar System film The Little Star That Could. Thank you Green Park School for a very pleasant visit.
