Great restaurant, in terms of both food and attentive, helpful service. If only all restaurants offered such a fine array of options made suitable for vegans. We dined at the Garden twice, on successive nights, so impressed were we with our first visit. The location is (all but) just opposite the railway station, which was especially convenient for us. Fantastic place. The best Cantonese restaurant, and not just locally. Great food — with awesome options for allergens such as free-gluten — and always a warm welcome. All the dishes we ordered were so mouthwatering and tasty. I wish I could have ordered the whole menu! It’s lovely to be back. Highly recommended!

Tasty food, good prices and possibly the friendly staff I've ever met anywhere. I had the Spring Rolls and Islander Chicken - strongly recommend. They stocked a ginseng liquor which I had not seen elsewhere. Would definitely go back here next time I'm in Bangor. You should too. Also, the restaurant is clearly coeliac-friendly - I have relations who love Chinese restaurants but struggle to know what they can eat in them. This restaurant seems to be ahead of the others in this regard.

Staff are really nice and welcoming, the restaurant decor was nice and the food was not only delicious but unique. The menu is short which is atypical of a Chinese restaurant but it contains all that you need for vegetarian to vegan to regular meat. You can taste that the food was made in house and not pre-made and the service was quick. Covid measures are still in place (visit 26/3/21) which was good and they had these covid mask ‘envelopes’ which I’ve never seen before but are a good addition so you don’t just have masks laying on the table. Really enjoyed this family run restaurant and would return again when I’m in the area.
