My daughter injured her knee ligament (PCL) while performing a twisting samersault in a gymnastics competition. She has been using crutches for about 6 weeks prior to seeing Adam and lost a lot of the muscle mass in her right leg. Her knee was very unstable and we weren't sure if she will be able to do gymnastics again. Adam was absolutely brilliant! We saw him regularly for about 7 months and he worked really hard with my daughter to make sure she regains her strength and can safely return to her sport. His program was varied and the intensity was just right. He showed a lot of compassion, always explained what we were doing and why and happliy answered all our qusestions. My daughter is now 8 months post injury, back at gymnastics doing all skills she did pre-injury and slowly regaining her confidence. We are so grateful to Adam for his expertise and all the amazing work he did with her :)

I came to E4 Physio as I had pain in my shoulder. I had hurt it from overloading on the bench press. I’d given myself over 2 months to recover but the pain didn’t go away. At E4 Physio I was seen by Adam and he told me it was rotator cuff injury. We had 2 sessions, with exercise for me to do in between the sessions, then on the 3rd session we agreed I should have an injection. He recommend somewhere I should go for this and I received a discount though Adam. I then had a 6 day rest before seeing Adam again. Then, after 2 more sessions my pain had gone! I cannot recommend E4 Physio enough. If I ever get another muscular injury, I’ll definitely go back.

I have seen Adam a number of times now, for a knee injury. I was impressed with the online booking system, the ease and the large clinic space and gym he operates out of. He fixed my issue in 4 sessions and I was able to walk almost pain free again after the first one. Would highly recommend to see Adam ASAP!

I have seen Adam for two separate problems and have nothing but high praise for his skill in diagnosing the specific injury and helping me understand what caused this. Both times we were able to set out realistic goals for rehabilitation, through our sessions and home physio exercises I was able to achieve these goals. Thank you!!

My son and I came to Adam at E4 Physio after a recommendation from a local bike shop. We were very close to beginning a trek/climb up Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. We had chosen a more complicated route than most and the extra training was too much for my battered body. I was in pain and walking with a significant limp when I first saw Adam. I was three weeks from setting out and was fully expecting to be told to cancel my trip. He quickly diagnosed the issue and then set about an intense programme of manipulation, schedule management, medication recommendation, and home exercise. The next three weeks were a bit of a roller coaster! I very nearly pulled the plug after a particularly bad training walk but the thorough nature of Adam's approach - and his positive but pragmatic attitude - kept me hanging in there. Eventually, with his guidance, I made the choice to attempt the trip. I saw him right up to the eve before we left. He gave me a stretch band and a set of exercises I could attempt in a tent, halfway up a mountain!! Meanwhile my son had a fast developing problem that needed a quick diagnosis and treatment plan. He is a GP and had some idea of what was going on but recognised he needed help to confirm and treat. I recommended Adam so we both ended up as patients with the same goal. There were a couple of occasions we passed each other on apponintments! Eventually he too decided he should attempt the climbs. My son and I managed to successfully summit both mountains. We "climbed" Kilimanjaro by the awkward route we had initially chosen. Obviously E4 Physio was not the only factor in our successful climbs, but speaking for myself there is no way I could have proceeded without Adam's knowledge and guidance. He was amazing during a difficult three weeks which was not ideal preparation for such an undertaking. He was just as determined as we were to achieve our aims - this really came across in all out interactions. It felt like a challenge for him too. We are both very grateful and I can only pass on our highest recommendation for E4 Physio. This may seem like a strap line but they honestly made the impossible possible for me. Thank you Adam.
