Important update on the Dance City Café

We fully re-opened, following pandemic restrictions easing, in September 2021. Our classes, HE, artists, theatre, engagement and CAT programmes, were all running in person, and it has been great to see so many back in the building. However, the footfall in our building is considerably lower than pre-pandemic levels. This is having a knock on effect in many ways, including the Dance City Café. If you have been to the building recently, you may have already learned of the closure of our beloved Dance City Café. We were not able to sustain this offer whilst we are working hard to rebuild our education and artistic dance programmes.

For the foreseeable future, there will be complimentary hot drinks and fruit available in the Café area. You are most welcome to use this space to read, work and meet. Please feel free to bring along your own food too, and dispose of any waste in the bins provided.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the hard working Café staff for their generosity and service over the years. I would also like to thank you for offering us your custom, and the opportunity to look after you.

As we learn what the future offering for the Café will become, we will stay in touch with you to let you know.
