Fantastic and fun experience at the 4DX cinema with the kids. Seats were rocking and rolling and jolting with every thump and bang and sudden noise and movement in the movie. The car chase was exciting. We all thoroughly enjoyed the effects! Great to see this in Plymouth.

The foyer was nice and bright with a cafe and seating areas. Wash rooms were clean and modern. The cinema itself looked lovely, however, the seats were not as comfortable as they looked. I am only 5ft 4 . My feet don't touch the ground. (Common problem) but I found that there was not a lot of leg room between me and the seat in front. It was difficult to get the seat to recline and as soon as I moved, the seat would pop up again. I went home with a very stiff back. Fortunately, the movie was excellent.

The atmosphere in here is actually really nice. We were surprised to see a Starbucks in the venue, meaning we didn't have to settle for the typical cinema drinks. The only thing that let's it down is the pricing. Would recommend though

Cinema world Plymouth has great disabled access and were really helpful in planning our cinema trip to see Downton abbey today . The staff were really helpful and kind to our group of ladies who attend the cinema today. The staff attitude from all the staff especially Claire was really positive and really helpful. We wil definitely recommending cinema world to lots of people and using the cinema again in the future. A big thank you to your staff team. It was a wonderful visit. It was amazing xx

Absolutely abysmal service, if I could give it a zero star I would. Went to Cineworld Plymouth, paid for three hours parking (which is pricey), planning to watch the new Matrix movie. Bought a ticket from the machine but it refused to release ticket, claiming that the card used to release was not the same as purchase (spoiler: it was). I tried every machine with the same 'error' message. There were no humans around to help out with the situation. I assumed it was an issue with my card so cut my losses and went home disappointed with the overall experience. I forgot about the situation until reading through my bank statement where, lo and behold, Cineworld had taken the sum of £6.99 from my account. I contacted their customer service team to request returning the moneys they had taken from me but they refused, claiming they "couldn't find the transaction" despite me sending the relevant card details and a bank statement showing the transaction. They then sent another message with the tone of: 'oh well too bad - that's life - maybe next time, have a nice day :)' which prompted me to write this negative review, something I've never done in all my years of receiving terrible service from various institutions in modern society. Shocking. If you want my advice, go to Vue down the road. It's cheaper, seats more comfortable, free parking - and you actually get to watch the movie! As an avid cinema-goer, I will boycotting Cineworld for life and, in the nicest way possible, hope they go under.
