The North Bridge branch of Black Sheep is one of my favourite coffee shops in Edinburgh. First, I love the self-service points where I can make and customise my order. Second, I love the relaxed vibe. I often chill here with a laptop. Third, the service is pretty quick and consistent. I never have to wait long. Forth, there is a nice selection of food and drinks. My only criticism would be the prices - it can be a bit expensive. Note that there is also a Black Sheep branch at St James Square but it's not as good as this branch.

What a gem, with Awesome coffee and a great atmosphere! I really enjoyed my friendly and hilarious chat with Alex which was amplified by the most beautiful swan coffee art! 😱❤️ A must try for anyone needing a nice break from the busy streets of Edinburgh!

We ordered iced tea and a mango smoothie. The iced tea tasted like iced water & three drops of lemon. The mango smoothie which was supposed to have a hint of coconut, tasted like there was coconut oil with milk and bananas. I just left the two cups there before leaving. They probably need to stick to just making coffee because looks like the coffee is what they’re known for..

Nice new coffee shop in North Bridge. The coffee is great and they also sell coffee to brew at home. I really liked the atmosphere and the decoration. Also, nice temperature, something many coffee shops overlook but it makes a difference between comfortable and relaxed and just a table to read a book.

Lovely tasting coffee, good friendly service, good chilled atmosphere where I could sit and do work as well as enjoying a coffee. Food looks good even though I did not have any at the time. Have visited many times and will many times again.
