From the very beginning our family have been hands on in maintaining property, we handle all aspects of this and we focused on thatching as our main career , and with apprenticeships we have become the thatchers we are today .We aim to use as much norfolk sourced material as possible and have strong relations with the Norfolk Reed Cutters. We decided that thatching was the direction that we wanted to explore as our own profession and with apprentices we then became the thatchers we are today. We have carried out thatching on all types of roofs, from cottages and barns through to churches and water mills. We believe that with our passion and craftsmanship, quality and care provided, your experience in choosing A & R Kelly will be guaranteed satisfaction. In October 2013 we completed Gunton Saw Mill working along side Norfolk Windmills Trust and Heritage Lottery Fund. With our kind and caring service provided throughout your project of any scale, rest assured it will be a pleasurable one. We can provide additions to any thatching, such as fire felting and insulation, through to additional building work or new builds.
