Hart Street enjoys an ideal, central location; it is a mere five minutes' stroll away from Princes Street - the main thoroughfare of the city - and a large number of museums, galleries and other visitor sites are within comfortable walking distance.
James and Angela Wilson's Georgian home is extremely elegant and welcoming. Fine furniture, old prints and authentic period details make this a wonderful setting for a visit to Edinburgh.
The small-scale nature of the enterprise offers a personal service tailored to the needs of the guests - breakfast times are built around the guests' own schedule and preferences, and breakfast itself can be adjusted to suit the tastes of the individual - from a traditional cooked breakfast to a Continental medley of yoghurt, fresh fruit and excellent coffee. All of this is served in the splendid, formal dining room of the house. Newspapers are always on hand, and there is plenty of time to linger.

Mathilde Guichard5 StarAngela’s house is just beautiful and has a lot of character. The rooms are spacious and cosy and the breakfast is divine.
It is ideally located near every center of interest but still is really quite during the night.

Laura Ezcurdia5 StarOur stay in the house was wonderful, from the first moment super easy to communicate with Angela. The house is beautiful and with care in every detail. Very close to the center, you are immediately in the most tourist spots. Angela made us very good recommendations and made us feel at home. The breakfasts are spectacular, with all kinds of options, fresh fruit and made to order, honestly better than any hotel we have ever stayed in. Caterina Greco5 StarI really really loved staying at 14 Hart Street! Angela is a great host, very welcoming and helpful. She prepares an amazing fresh breakfast every morning to each guests' taste. The B&B is just exquisite, loved the furniture and the style. Rooms are spacious and so cozy, really appreciated the included whisky as well.
The neighborhood is quiet and within walking distance of almost everything.

We felt special the moment we arrived and were shown to our lovely large luxurious room and felt this way every morning when having breakfast on a beautifully layed out table.
The location was as described in all these reviews somehow making you feel like you are in the center of town but on a super quiet street at the same time and was the perfect base for our city exploration!
Our host Angela was delightful ! She really elevated our stay providing us with great advise for where to eat as well as insider tips on when and how to visit some of Edinburgh's famous attractions.
